The Saturday Food Giveaways are more than food distribution — they’re an expression of Cynthia Mickens Ministries’ commitment to community, dignity, and hope. Through food, fellowship, and the garden, we cultivate connection and care for our neighbors.

On the third Saturday of each month we share fresh, healthy food with our neighbors — no questions asked.

Cynthia Mickens Ministries believes everyone deserves access to nutritious food. Our Saturday Food Giveaways provide fresh produce, pantry staples, and a compassionate, welcoming place for community connection.

 

What to Expect

• Fresh produce & pantry items. We distribute fruits, vegetables, and nonperishable staples donated by local partners and grown at The Path Organic Community Garden Gathering Place.
• Respectful, dignified service. Volunteers distribute items with care and privacy — we treat every guest with respect and honor.
• First-come, first-served. Supplies are limited each week; we do our best to serve as many families as possible.

 

Who Can Come

The giveaways are open to the general public — all ages and families are welcome. There is no income verification, just simple paperwork is required.

The third Saturday of Each Month from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Volunteer and Donate

Our Saturday ministry is powered by volunteers and donations. Ways to help:

• Volunteer: Assist with setup, distribution, or clean-up. Shifts are flexible.
• Donate food: Fresh produce, canned goods, and shelf-stable items are welcome.
• Give financially: Monetary gifts allow us to buy staples when donations run low
